The Aviation & Space Symposium (#AS22) will take place on 1 & 2 June 2022 at the OLMA Exhibition in St. Gallen. Organized by the Center for Aviation Competence of the University of St. Gallen, it will focus on the sustainable future of civil aviation and opportunities in the New Space Economy. Held together with the 10th Bodensee Aerospace Meeting (#BAM22), hosted by the Swiss Aerospace Cluster, this unique event will be the largest cross-cluster Aerospace symposium in Europe. Many companies from the DACH region will exhibit, and a top-class range of speakers from the aerospace industry will talk. New this year, an academic zone will host universities and present student projects.
The event will highlight the relaunch of global aeronautics under sustainability criteria and address the requirements of new space programs in a European context. Founded in 2014 by former EPFL students and based in the canton of Vaud ever since, Astrocast is delighted to be part of the Innovaud delegation, to promote the involvement of the canton in space innovation. With a long history of supporting innovation by startups, scale-ups, SMEs and large tech companies, Innovaud is also the gateway for foreign companies wanting to establish a presence in the heart of Europe. Now a listed company and a key player in the global SatIoT landscape, Astrocast will tell you all about their journey at booth 39.
On June 2nd, the conference day will conclude with parallel sessions, providing presentations on specific topics, by industry experts, leading academics, and young entrepreneurs. They will discuss current research and industry trends to the B2B and academic audience, while addressing the challenges of the future. Laurent Vieira de Mello, COO, will present Astrocast, the most advanced satellite IoT network. Check out these “Meet the Expert Sessions” at 3:30 pm, and get in touch with the presenters directly after their talk.
