Meet our first product, the Astronode™ S

Astronode™ S is a solder-down bi-directional low-power module for customers who want a simple serial interface connection to our network.

Astroband Antennas

Development Kit

• With the Astronode S at its core, this kit contains everything you need to easily connect your device to our satellite network
• A separate Wi-Fi development board simulates the satellite link to provide a low latency development environment
• An antenna is also provided

Astrocast network service offering

Astrocast designs, builds and operates its own constellation of nanosatellites. This powers its global bi-directional L-Band network for narrowband IoT applications that require a few kB of connectivity a day or less.

Latency and service – 2020

  • Once to twice a day bidirectional messaging service (bi-directionality for fixed assets only)

  • Average end-to-end latency of approximately 5-7 minutes
  • Maximum end to end latency of 15 minutes
  • Near real-time latency in polar and equatorial locations due to our polar and equatorial orbits

We are currently doing pilot programs with our pre-commercial service and have 2 satellites already operational in orbit. Our full commercial development kit will be released in 2020.
